Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon Qazanfar Roknabadi met former Lebanese president Amin Jamil and discussed the latest developments in Lebanon, region and world in addition to the bilateral relations.
Amin Jamil condemned the latest terrorist blast near the Iranian cultural center in Beirut and said “extremist groups claiming to be religious and the terrorists groups are the most dangerous threats in the region and Lebanon.”
He pointed to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s positive role in cooperation with the regional and international countries and said that “Islamic Republic of Iran has important role in the region and its open-door policies deserve other regional countries’ proper answers.”
Roknabadi during the meeting held that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported unity among the Lebanese groups and will spare no efforts to boost Lebanese groups' unity and stability.
